परदेशी औषधी वनस्पती

तुळशीची पाने ही आयुर्वेदात औषधी समजली जातात. परदेशातही अशाच काही वनस्पतींची पाने, त्यांचे औषधी गुण विचारात घेऊन स्वयंपाकघरातील पदार्थ बनवताना-अन्‍नाचा चटकदारपणा वाढविण्यासाठी उपयोगात आणतात. काही अशा परदेशी वनस्पतींचा हा परिचय :-

मार्जोराम (मरवा)

रोजमरी

सेज



पार्सली, सेज, रोजमरी आणि थाईम या वनस्पतींसंबंधी हे परंपरागत इंग्रजी गीत प्रसिद्ध आहे.
